2012 Union Filing Report
In 2012 there were 1,982 representation cases filed1 and 2,028 closed. Of those cases that were closed in 2012 40.2% led to the certification of a union. The median bargaining unit for successful cases had 21 workers. In total this led to approximately 41,706 new workers with union representation.
