2017 Union Filing Report
In 2017 there were 1,906 representation cases filed1 and 1,903 closed. Of those cases that were closed in 2017 50.3% led to the certification of a union. The median bargaining unit for successful cases had 19 workers. In total this led to approximately 54,989 new workers with union representation.
