2013 Union Filing Report
In 2013 there were 2,040 representation cases filed1 and 2,014 closed. Of those cases that were closed in 2013 42.8% led to the certification of a union. The median bargaining unit for successful cases had 19 workers. In total this led to approximately 40,045 new workers with union representation.
